CHAD POCHE, P.E., VICE PRESIDENT
Mr. Poché has been a consulting geotechnical engineer for nearly 20 years in the New Orleans and Baton Rouge areas. Mr. Poche earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Louisiana State University in 1993 and a Master of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of New Orleans in 1998. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Louisiana and Mississippi.
Since 2001, Mr. Poche was the Branch Manager for the New Orleans office of Ardaman & Associates and Soil Testing Engineers (purchased by Ardaman in 2007). He left that position in 2011 to be a Partner and Vice President of Gulf South Engineering and Testing, Inc.
Mr. Poche has worked on traditional and unique geotechnical engineering projects (shallow and deep foundation design, slope stability, pavement design, etc.) as well as provided construction oversight for waste facilities and other earthwork related projects. His experience includes the development of appropriate scopes of work and proposals for a broad range of projects, planning and coordinating analyses, preparing technical reports regarding foundation design and construction recommendations, and consulting with clients.
